I grew up in Northern Ontario, and I still call it home today. My art practice developed naturally and slowly as I gained more skills and confidence. I initially began drawing at a young age and over time, thanks to some wonderful teachers, my art practice developed from drawing to painting and then photography as modes of expression.

My art is continually evolving and developing and I am always working on my skills. I create because it is the one thing I cannot live without; It defines me and connects me to the world, and to you.

The website is a way for me to express myself through art and language (that’s where the blog comes in) and I’ll be adding new work as I complete new pieces. My focus shifts year to year but my inspiration always comes from nature and the land. I have always felt the deep connection between myself and the earth and it continually provides me with joy and love.
